We use your registered email address to let you complete the account setup you started. This processing is necessary for steps taken at your request before entering into and performing the platform contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We process your account identifier, name, registered email address, preferred language, registration domain, onboarding state, verification status, and the technical delivery and audit records required for the reminder.
Data is disclosed only to authorized Neighbourly personnel and contracted email delivery providers where required to send and document the operational message.
Registration and account-completion audit data is retained while your Neighbourly account remains active and you are a registered member of a Neighbourly community.
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and you may complain to a competent data-protection authority.
Use Neighbourly support to exercise your rights or ask how your registration data is processed. Completing community selection remains optional.
Parking verification
This section explains how private contract or usage-right evidence submitted for a parking space is handled.
We use the document to verify the right to offer a parking space and support platform safety, fraud prevention, review, and audit. The file receives a safety scan and may undergo advisory address-text extraction for comparison by an authorized reviewer; extraction never makes the decision automatically.
The owner and authorized platform parking reviewers may access the private document. Community members, parkers, and conversation participants cannot access it. Approved storage and scanning providers process it only on the platform’s instructions.
The document is kept only while required for parking-space verification, security and audit, disputes, legal obligations, or an applicable legal hold. It is deleted or restricted when the approved parking-document retention schedule requires it.
You may contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or the retention period that applies to your document. Legal obligations or a legal hold may limit deletion.
privacy@neighbourly.spaceService communication
Verified contact and delivery data are used when necessary for account, membership, booking, payment, and safety processes initiated through the service. These messages cannot be disabled while the related process or account obligation remains active.
Optional community communication
If you opt in, Neighbourly uses your verified email address, community name, request reference, and delivery evidence to tell you about new membership requests under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time in notification settings; withdrawal does not affect earlier processing. Contracted email providers receive only the data needed for delivery. Permission and withdrawal evidence is retained for accountability and legal claims, while delivery records follow the stated notification retention periods.
Optional parking communication
If you choose email or SMS alerts, Neighbourly uses your verified contact detail, community membership, availability reference, and delivery evidence to notify you when parking is published. Your future-community default and any community exceptions can be changed at any time. Permission and withdrawal evidence is retained for accountability.
Optional communication
We use your verified email address for occasional product and community-sharing information only after your separate consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before it. Contracted communication service providers receive only the data needed for delivery. Current consent and withdrawal evidence is retained for accountability and legal claims; an approved deletion period will be applied when defined.
